Our client, a strategic brand consultancy led by a former Chief Creative Officer, is in need of a freelance Social Media Art Director/Designer to work on a recently launched CBD beverage. This person would support the team in a part-time off-site capacity. This role begins immediately.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partner directly with the Chief Creative Officer, Social Media Content/Copywriter and client on concepting through executing designs
  • Research industry trends to help the team develop engaging content
  • Drive innovation and grow traffic for relative social channels, primarily Instagram, through engaging content
  • Work with your Copy partner to deliver innovative content and creative ideas to the table, proposing social concepts to new and existing creative briefs
  • Aim to build and grow our clients' brands social media presence, assist with implementing the overall social strategy laddering up to the overall strategic and business objectives
  • Stay current of all social media tools and trends
  • Manage timelines and project life cycles, and ensure deadlines have been met
  • Other tasks may apply

About you:

  • 3+ years of Social Media Art Direction/Design experience
  • Expertise with all social channels, primarily Instagram
  • You can concept, develop, and present ideas to clients in a polished manner
  • Must understand strategy and how to develop creative ideas under a media neutral idea
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite design programs
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet research
  • You are self-motivated, creative, confident and have a strong work ethic
  • You must have your own computer for this position
