Onward Search needs a Social Media Content Creator for a client in greater Boston area.
You’ll join an in-house agency team of writers, art directors, designers, video editors and animators who develop creative work to promote the company and grab the attention of customers and prospects. In this role, you will design digital assets and write content for social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok and Employee Advocacy.
This is a 3-month project opportunity (possibly longer) working in-office on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
As a Social Media Content Creator you’ll:
- Design social media visual assets and write customer-centric copy that reinforces and enhances the brand platform
- Craft social media copy for thought leadership articles, highlighting the brand purpose and heartfelt messaging
- Collaborate with teams to create work that embodies the company’s voice and is uniquely tailored for each social channel (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, and Employee Advocacy)
- Gain a deep understanding of the company’s audience and products, knowing what matters most to the customer
- Accept critical feedback gracefully and implement revisions promptly to meet stakeholder goals
- Foster relationships with colleagues in creative, strategy, social channel leads, traffic, and proofreading, ensuring smooth workflow from project initiation to completion
Skills & Experience needed:
- Outstanding online portfolio or work samples demonstrating creative skills (provide link or PDF)
- Exceptional writing and editing abilities
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and design capabilities to create bite-size content for social media
- 4-7 years of copywriting experience with an agency or brand
- Familiarity with social media marketing channels such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, and TikTok
- Knowledge of social media tactics to maximize message visibility and engagement
- Proven ability to conduct research, self-edit, and write creatively under tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
- Reliable remote work capabilities, including professional audio and video conferencing skills
- A versatile, team player with a positive attitude
- An open-minded and inclusive spirit toward all races, ethnicities, genders, orientations, and abilities
