Onward Search is on the hunt for a Social Media Manager to join our start-up client for a temp-to-hire or full-time role that starts immediately.

You will report to the CMO and be responsible for building out a social department for a start-up that has been growing like gang busters in the health/ wellness/ sports industry.

You will be both a strategic and executional position until you hire the people underneath you.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Help plan, and create the overall social media strategy to target end-consumers, athletes and doctors alike
  • Create content calendars, and overall content for various social channels including Snap, FB, YouTube, Twitter etc.
  • Step in and write executions on your own and help to maintain social communities
  • Produce video content, both planned and ad-hoc
  • Help with social strategy and executions at events
  • There are influencer managers on the team, but you will also be responsible for helping to ensure that the strategy for working with influencers is on point
  • Help to develop the paid social campaigns

We are seeking Social Media Managers who meet the following requirements:

  • 4+ Years experience in Social Media Marketing
  • Must be someone looking to grow their career and take it to the next level
  • Prefer candidates who are passionate about the health/ wellness space
  • Must be strategic and follow the latest trends in social marketing, and be willing to implement new strategies to grow our client's consumer base
  • Must be able to write and produce content, both video and written form
  • Must be fearless, a leader, and someone who is passionate about what they do
