Our client, a large renowned agency is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team on a freelance/long term contract basis with the potential to go full time for the right candidate!

In this role, the Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, implementing and managing the agency clients through the use and implementation of social & digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for recommending social programs and facilitating all content and messaging published on Social Media Networks, blogosphere and new digital media platforms
  • Will also compilie reports, client-facing documents and accountable for the performance of the campaigns they help to structure
  • Plan, organize and manage the day-to-day strategy, reporting and processes for campaign management while bringing a keen perspective
  • Will work with the Digital team, as well as the Traditional Account
    Management, Media and Creative teams on the planning and implementation of social marketing initiatives and execution
  • The development of social media strategy
  • Budget allocation planning and management
  • Recommendations grounded in research
  • The supervision of application development and production
  • Content development and social tool usage
  • Campaign effectiveness monitoring
  • Engage and activate both internal team members and the Client to maximize
    effectiveness
  • Develop and distribute weekly/monthly performance/campaign reports in collaboration with the Social Analyst
  • Manage the preparation and delivery of social presentations to the Client
  • Develop unique and time-tested ideas to include with the holistic campaign
  • Build and maintain client’s content distribution network by way of social media channels
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the client’s brand, report to appropriate parties
  • Conduct Blogger outreach and communications for brand promotions, as needed
  • Manage, Monitor and Engage in Social Media/Social Communities with minute
  • Own Social Media, Social Communities, Blogs, Message Boards, Email Discussion Groups and Live Chats to generate exposure, publicity and sales

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business or other related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Social Media Marketing within an agency
  • Passionately in tune with latest social media developments, online behaviors and trends
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote
  • Proficiency on Social Media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram,LinkedIn, Google+, Snapchat, and other current social media platforms (Advanced capabilities required with: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, networking, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Urgency and a strong attention to detail, specifically with regards to written communications
  • Strong command of the English language
