Our client, a socially conscious fashion and jewelry brand is in need of a Social Media Manager to help grow their presence with consumers. This is a full-time position that could begin with a brief freelance period if desired.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for driving massive growth across the brand's social channels (Facebook/Instagram)
  • Leverage analytical strategy to develop plans for social channel audience growth
  • Use proper judgement to respond to social media channel conversations that are on voice and engage the brand's loyal customers
  • Identify ways for the brand to become involved as an activist by participating/commenting on events that have relation to those the brand is in support of
  • Develop and implement paid social strategies
  • Actively monitor product launches that are relevant to the brand, the brand's activities, and other socially relevant holidays and events to ensure they are built into the brands content calendar
  • Build proposals for creative collaboration with prominent influencers in relevant spaces for our brand and for our target. Your goal is to develop and curate advocacy for our brand with new communities through the content and strategies you develop
  • Synthesize conversations and insights into an actionable report which inspires optimization of the brand's activity in social and business
  • Create reports on community stats and KPIs (targets/fulfillment) using social listening programs on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Design the expansion of the brand's existing platforms and content through the insights you have gained in your community management
  • Identify opportunities for the brand to participate in the social and physical world with local retail events, bloggers and editors, charities, influencers and other organizations with relevance to the brand and the causes we champion

About you:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in social media and community management in a fashion or retail environment, insights, or advertising
  • Examples of how you grew engaged communities on Facebook and Instagram
  • Experience engaging with celebrities, social media influencers or bloggers
  • Strong working knowledge of analytics and social listening solutions. You are well-versed using programs and tactics to drive insights, optimizations and KPIs
  • Bonus if you've worked with philanthropies, non-profits and charities or have personal interest in the space
  • Organized and can run with multiple projects at the same time
  • Outgoing and have excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and are pleasant to work with even in the most stressful of times
