Our client, a fashion company, is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team fulltime!

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing and implementing social strategy for all fashion brands, mapping out a comprehensive plan to elevate all brands and social channels.
  • Producing an in-depth social content calendar that includes deliverables and deadlines for all related departments (photoshoots, design, copy, launch, go-live, etc...)
  • Planning, coordinating and executing social promotions, on-brand contests and other activities to increase brand awareness, social engagement and revenue.
  • Acting as the community manager, engaging in social posts, answering questions and partnering with customer service team to remedy customer complaints.
  • Concepting 'mini-photoshoots' for social content, attending company photoshoots for BTS footage for social content, managing relationships and coordinating photoshoots with social influencers.
  • Establishing top social KPI's for growth, reach and engagement; measuring and analyzing social performance to establish, measure and improve ROI.
  • Researching competitor's social activities/results, social media trends, trending news in pop culture, staying abreast of top trends socially in the fashion industry; converting research and analysis into actionable insights.
  • Setting clear objectives / guidelines for user generated content to grow engagement, build trust, improve SEO value and increase followers.
  • Developing blogger/influencer outreach program and network; partnering with PR team to ensure relationships benefit both company and individual.
  • Reporting weekly on social posts, efficacies, ROI's, and other social successes or opportunities.
  • Working cross functionally across marketing, public relations, and customer service teams to deliver effective and coordinated messaging to the audience.

We are seeking Social Media Managers who meet the following requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in social strategy and content implementation within fashion or lifestyle.
  • BA/BS in relevant field.
  • Excellent writing, editing (photo/social video/text), verbal and communication skills.
  • Proven problem solver with analytical and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Proficiency with Social Media tools (i.e. Hootsuite, Discoverly, Social Clout, Sniply, SumoMee, etc...)
  • Social video tool knowledge (i.e. Periscope, Meerkat, etc...)
