Our client, a notable fashion/lifestyle brand, is looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to join their team for a direct-hire, remote opportunity.

Social Media Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

Social Strategy:

  • Set the course for what Social Media means at the organization by establishing a strategic vision for all social channels and KPIs to measure success
  • Continue to build the channels – acquiring new consumers and building engagement
    • Strategize on ways to use content to build emails/ brand/ ads
  • Develop a channel and placement specific strategy that takes advantage of each outlets strengths
  • Partner with creative to deliver smart, relevant and engaging creative on each platform within each medium
  • Maintain visibility to all new channels and new promotional tactics within existing channels to ensure the brand is taking advantage of relevant opportunities
  • Bring innovation to the brand using new channels and platform (Get the company off the ground with TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest Organic)
  • Work with the Business Intelligence team to establish metrics that tie back to web visits and conversion

Social Execution:

  • Working with the community manager to plan and execute 1x – 2x per day on Facebook, Instagram and develop an appropriate post cadence for TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and any other social tools we deem relevant as a brand
  • Maintain a pulse on what’s current and topical within the social world to make recommendations on content, product and surface up any trends, opportunities or concerns to management

Content Creation:

  • Producing video and stills on a regular basis for content for Stories, Posts, Reels, etc..
  • Lead commercialization our channels by being relevant and creative in brand, product and commercial moments
  • Work with manager and Go to Market team to develop new storylines for marketing endeavors and product launches
  • Manage and update brand marketing calendar at a monthly glance for planned posts.
  • Develop a plan and strategy for execution
  • Develop a close working relationship with creative team to partner on execution of built for social content

Paid Social (organic):

  • Manage budget for sponsored content and boosts to grow audience and engagement

Influencer Engagement and Management:

  • Further the brands strategic thinking in the influencer and content creator space
  • Manage social ambassadors and influencers, current and prospects, leveraging established social media influencer tool
  • Be on the look-out for brand appropriate content with the mindset to chime in/ engage with it as a way to broaden the brands voice in social channels
  • Mine the platforms for social influencers and advocates of the brand we should be developing key partnerships
  • Perform outreach activities, including developing and maintaining relationships with key bloggers, influencers and other media. Leverage those relationships and opportunities where appropriate (i.e – talent for potential shoots, blog contributors, etc)
  • Work with influencers to build follower growth, build content and distribute brand relevant content

Community Management:

  • Always on attitude of monitoring our social channels to respond to customer inquiries, requests and customer service questions
  • Build brand credibility by responding to and engaging with the community and commenting on brand relevant posts
  • Maintain a pulse on what’s current and topical within the social world to make recommendations on content, product and surface up any trends, opportunities or concerns to management
  • Assist community manager by responding within 24 hrs to 95-100% of consumer comments, questions, feedback on both paid and organic posts

Channel Upkeep:

  • Develop and manage a weekly calendar for all brand posts on all channels, to be shared on a weekly basis with creative team
  • Schedule and post, with help of community manager
  • Engage in marketing meetings, brainstorms and activations
  • Ensure backgrounds, links, etc. are all actively maintained and updated

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Improve on our current social media reporting to ensure it’s relevant and actionable, working to derive insights that make us stronger/ better/ more nimble in the social space
  • Monthly competitive trend analysis to show how we’re tracking against brand metrics outlined at beginning of the year
  • Analyze sentiment on the channel to ensure it’s positive, Reporting back on trends and changes in sentiment and possible solutions to customer dissatisfaction.
  • Utilize UTM tags to track sales

Management:

  • Manage/mentor staff members
  • As a senior member of the marketing team work closely with the other managers to facilitate an environment of curiosity, inclusion, test-and-learn throughout the organization and team.

Social Media Marketing Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years managing social media for a lifestyle brand
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, Sprout is a plus
  • TikTok experience required
  • Experience working with a project management tool, Asana preferred
  • Experience working cross functionally across groups, including creative teams
  • Effective presentation of information and strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Goal-oriented, with high standards of honesty, ethics, and personal accountability
  • Proven track record of growing brands social media followers and engagement
  • Successful collaborations with influencers and content creators
  • Always on mindset, social never sleeps
