Our client, a locally based travel company is seeking a Social Media Specialist to assist in the creative brand enhancements of their business, as well as their corporate branding. The person selected for this role will work closely with the account team and designers to bring the strategy to life.


  • Develop, implement and manage client social media strategies. while also having campaign driven content across various platforms.
  • Develop engaging community content while supporting client branding guidelines through collaboration with Account and Design Teams.
  • Monitor, report and pivot strategy based on social media KPIs. (monthly and quarterly)
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Design team to build social media assets.
  • Moderate platforms to remove spam content, respond to customer inquiries and assist with customer service questions.


  • 2-3+ years of experience as a social media manager or similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Design or similar relevant field
  • Understanding and knowledge of social media best practices and their advertising platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest)
  • Thorough knowledge of SEO, PPC social media measurement and other social media KPIs
  • Critical thinker and strong problem-solving skills who is skilled at multitasking and communicating
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, video skills are a plus
