Our client, a video game company, is seeking a Social Strategist to join the team. We're looking for candidates with the following skillset and experience to fill the role. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop regionally targeted plans that ladder into global social strategies and executing those plans with proactive ownership.
  • Participate in crucial conversations with players online and work with creators within the community to amplify their awesome content.
  • Participate in an internal community of practice around social media, helping to ensure we're aligned as a team, and working from the same playbook when we talk to players on platforms and partnered channels.
  • Act as a tactical operator and advisor on multiple social channels for the North American publishing team, overseeing execution of global campaign work and development of original content for the region
  • Foster communication between important player segments/leaders and internal team
  • Work closely with NA Publishing Leadership to understand regional business goals and the global campaign beats
  • Identify and solve challenges before/after regular business hours, when needed

Musts:

  • 3-5 years in social or digital media, at an agency or in-house
  • Experience conducting ongoing community management or implementing successful campaigns with gaming audiences
  • Experience in social media tools and software (Spredfast, Sprinklr, etc.)
  • Able to use basic imaging editing software to create content and memes

Pluses:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Experience with Photoshop & video editing
  • Experience in digital/PR/influencers
  • Experience within gaming and entertainment IPs
  • In-depth knowledge and curiosity of the digital media landscape
