Spanish Translator / Analyst

Onward SEARCH needs a Spanish Translator / Analyst for a Global Music Company.  

You’ll join the Data Curation team to apply your knowledge of Spanish language and music to transcribe descriptions of music across a suite of software. You’ll work in homegrown web-based applications to curate and analyze the data, providing corrections and translations for particular words and phrases.

This is a 4 month 100% remote contract opportunity with possibility of extension.

As a Spanish Translator you’ll: 

• Work part-time in a field focusing on translation quality data that trains Machine Learning models
• Validate or manually translate English terms into Spanish
• Evaluate quality of the iteration of the model as it improves
• Meet weekly and monthly translation targets

Skills & Experience needed:  

• You are fluent in reading and writing in Spanish and have a personal connection to Spanish music of varying genres
• You are efficient, accurate, and productive
• You care about the improvement of listening experiences
• You are careful and meticulous when working with data.
• You have an interest and curiosity for interpreting how language and music continually influence each other
