Onward Play needs a Sr. Back-End Developer for a large learning project with an exciting company in Gaming.

You’ll join the Engineering team to help upgrade and modernize the learning platform, which will be the basis of future development. This will be a hands-on role and our client is looking for someone to get detailed with coding..

As a Sr. Back-End Developer you’ll:

  • Ensure service scalability and reliability through efficient and effective code as well as strong data storage design
  • Partner with teammates to understand the needs of our users, and develop features that serve those needs
  • Build reusable code and libraries that are testable and scale well, using appropriate design patterns and data structures

Skills & Experience needed:

  • Strong experience in a commercial setting building high traffic web services in Go
  • Strong knowledge of Good experience writing unit tests
  • Expertise of distributed, highly available, and scalable cloud based systems
  • Expertise of microservice architecture and patterns
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, MongoDB huge plus
  • Experience working with GCP, Firebase and Docker
