Our client, a company in Miami is looking for a Sr. Copywriter to join their team on a direct hire basis. In this role, you will work within the Marketing Department takes the lead in driving demand for the brand at every touchpoint, developing press-worthy and travel-worthy events, creating conversion-friendly digital properties and consumable content, as well as delivering compelling campaigns.


  • As an essential member of Marketing’s Creative Services team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, writing, proofreading and editing content for digital and physical experiences, guest-facing interaction and presentations
  • The project variety is endless, and you’ll work on everything from brand repositioning to program identities, pitch decks, social media posts and content series, UI labels, print ads, promotional campaigns, digital signage, emails, event invitations, digital experiences, corporate communications and more
  • The role requires exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects with diverse audiences
  • Skilled storyteller that effectively crafts messages for a wide range of mediums
  • Results-driven creator committed to evolving and elevating content
  • Understand, shape and implement appropriate brand voice(s)
  • Collaborate to understand business objectives and expectations to create elegant, user-friendly results
  • Monitor and promote emerging trends in content and marketing tactics
  • Clearly and efficiently communicates ideas and rationale to creative team and stakeholders
  • Exceptional proofreading skills
  • Actively participate in review sessions, brainstorms, concepting and development of work product working with Creative Services, Marketing, agency partners and business stakeholders
  • Present creative materials to agency’s creative team, management team and/or business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with agency team members and partners to produce powerful, culturally relevant and inherently sharable or actionable
  • Ensure all copy deadlines are met
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Office environment with occasional travel


  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience at a creative or ad agency or in-house creative department, including experience with interactive experience and promotional marketing
  • An extensive portfolio
  • Experience writing manifestos a plus
  • Brand experience
  • Critical eye for detail
  • Sound understanding of graphic design and a keen appreciation for the interplay between textual and visual elements
  • Openness to constructive criticism and flexibility with regards to adaptation and modification
  • Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking and acute attention to detail with demanding deadlines
  • A strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles
  • Experience with guest communications/customer service
  • Blend of strategic and strong executional skills required—must be extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Ambitious and highly flexible go-getter with a high capacity to initiate and complete multiple, concurrent projects, multi-task, prioritize and pivot
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work with and diplomatically influence all levels of the organization
  • Thoughtful, calm and patient problem-solver with good discretion
  • Thrives in fast-paced, at times stressful, start-up environment, while always keeping a positive attitude




  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
