Onward Search is looking for a Senior Designer to join our prominent corporate client in Atlanta!

Position Scope:

  • This is a W2 contract opportunity expected to initially last for 12 months and then convert in either 6-month or 12-month increments.
  • Benefits are available throughout the entire length of the engagement
  • This is an onsite role in the Perimeter area of Atlanta. Remote candidates will NOT be considered.

Position Summary:

  • This is a broad visual design role requiring experience and capability across multiple digital and print channels. Key skills/experience include:
    • Graphic Design: creating infographics, brochures, posters, etc.
    • Digital/Web Design: working with the team to create content for our intranet, blogs, and/or social media
    • Presentation Design: building PowerPoint presentations in support of sales and marketing functions
    • Digital Storytelling: helping highlight key product capabilities in ways that can be easily disseminated to key stakeholders

Primary Functions:

  • Design and develop effective marketing communications using varied mediums and channels to successfully promote the company and its products and services.
  • Design, plan, coordinate, update and maintain marketing communications programs and materials.
  • Develop and maintain graphic designs and layout to support the brand image.
  • Digitize and edit source multimedia elements (e.g., sound, video, animation) using various authoring platforms.
  • Ensure that graphic images, symbols and colors are acceptable with local cultural and language standards while adhering to the organization's stylistic guidelines.
  • Research, recommend and implement creative content for promotional programs to increase market awareness and improve market penetration.
  • Develop creative, clear, accurate written material for the organization's marketing material in support of the organization's marketing programs in accordance with established editorial and style guidelines.
  • Provide design and creative support to a department responsible for:
    • managing the development, production, inventory, and distribution of sales and promotional materials to maximize sales efforts, customer loyalty, and customer retention;
    • developing, implementing, and maintaining communications strategy and programs to effectively promote products and services;
    • strategizing, planning, and producing all communications materials (internal and external) for marketing initiatives;
    • collaborating with product marketing teams to develop appropriate messaging and tactics for marketing initiatives; and
    • providing support to the overall marketing strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
  • 4-7 years of hands-on work experience across graphic design, content writing, and sales enablement, preferably in a large, complex organization.
  • Expert in the use of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and similar design applications, in both PC and Mac environments.
  • Prior experience developing marketing and sales enablement design and content to connect technical products with an audience.
  • Ability to create content across various formats including articles, one-sheets, and tradeshow materials, sales collateral, customer case studies, website, presentation, whitepapers, etc.
  • Fanatical attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and positive attitude
