Our client, a major entertainment studio, is seeking a Senior Manager, Licensing join the Consumer Products Design team.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize category performance through product management strategy and go-to-market execution for key initiatives.
  • Develop global category-level strategies to optimize existing business and identify new opportunities across franchises and across retail channels for Hardlines, Softlines and Consumables categories
  • Identify new, consumer-first product and category opportunities plus brand extensions to capture whitespace and drive incremental revenue, and translate these opportunities into innovative, executable business plans.
  • Develop go-to-market plans for new opportunities including branding, product, business models, marketing, content, and retail programs.
  • Partner with franchise, commercialization, content, marketing teams and lines of business (eCommerce, Games, Publishing) to implement go-to-market programs.
  • Drive and launch cross-franchise projects and cross-category opportunities and other new initiatives currently under development.
  • Maximize category performance and revenue across vertical/licensed business models, retailers, and digital platforms, by leveraging consumer insights and productivity analysis.
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop consumer marketing and content programs for new initiatives
  • Drive category specific retail program development with sales and retail marketing teams
  • Partner with global territories to share learnings, best practices and monitor execution against initiatives

Musts:

  • 5-7 years professional experience required, preferably in project and/or product management within consumer goods category
  • Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree a plus
  • Proficiency in product management
  • Deep understanding of consumers and ability to develop key insights and use data to tell a story and drive decisions
  • P&L management mentality

  • Able to think strategically
  • Drives results fast / executes with sense of urgency and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written presentation and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic collaborator and team player with a positive attitude

  • Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency
