A pharmaceutical organization is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to join their team for a long-term contract!

Sr. Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Oncology Nurse Educator leadership team to develop, execute, and manage assigned projects and programs in a compliant manner and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal and external contacts to deliver on project plans, meetings and events associated with Oncology Nurse Educator
  • Coordination of recruitment, onboarding, and team training
  • Manage, coordinate, and maintain all aspect of the Oncology annual plan execution.
  • Manage and coordinate project and program budgets for key projects and initiatives, holding teams accountable for budget usage and tracking and submitting and tracking purchase orders as needed.
  • Acquire, maintain, and track data on various projects, including metrics and timely reporting of team activities
  • Contribute to and drive the execution of ongoing and ad hoc projects for Oncology Nurse Educator such as optimization of Sharepoint
  • Support the ongoing operations of the Oncology Nurse Educator

Sr. Project Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, and/or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of overall project management experience
  • Experience with pharmaceutical/oncology products preferred.
  • Knowledge of event planning and functions a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or PPM Tool experience a plus
  • Expert in Microsoft Suite
  • Smartsheet certification preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, problem-solving, and team coordination skills, with a track record of successful experiences in organizational roles
  • Ability to build, maintain, and influence effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including management of all levels
  • Ability to provide financial management for projects and operations with minimal supervision
  • Compassion, empathy, and a high degree of integrity and accountability
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
