Our client, a strategic influencer & experiential agency, is seeking a Sr Strategist to join their team.

You will report to the Founder, and be responsible to:

  • Be a leader at the agency working with & across all teams including Creative, Strategy, Account/Brand, and Production on both existing work and new business
  • Find trends, brand research and insights, and translate those into creative ideas for both new business pitches and existing client campaigns, programs, and activations
  • Work closely with the Account, creative and production teams, participating in all stages of the strategy and creative process, from ideation to conceptual development
  • Produce creative briefs and concept frameworks as guide for internal teams collaboration and ideation
  • Ability to evolve creative frameworks to impactful, executable creative across platforms both for existing accounts and new business pitches
  • Work with the CEO and Leadership to refine strategic and creative processes across the organization
  • Work with CEO and leadership to drive agency growth; build pitch decks with strategic insights and creative ideas
  • Ability to clearly link creative strategy with measurable results and KPI’s clearly
  • Comfortable presenting to clients and leading strategy discussions speaking to client goals and driving ongoing, lasting-relationships

Musts:

  • Must have at least 7+ years of relevant experience in a marketing agency, integrated marketing firm, creative ideation company, or for a publisher in a capacity where you helped develop content strategies
  • History of relevant experience in brand marketing with knowledge of social and influencer marketing, and/or related fields including content, advertising, and consulting
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge the strategic and creative process, from assignment brief through activation at all stages of campaign lifecycles
  • Proven track record of setting direction and leading ideation of on-brand, forward thinking creative solutions
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to articulate smart and sometimes complex solutions in a straightforward and lucid manner to existing and prospective clients alike
  • Skilled at briefing and collaborating with creative teams
  • Client facing experience ideally with consumer brands, including pitching to C-suite executives
  • Passionate about pop culture and infuse that knowledge into every aspect of the planning process
  • Possess a foundational understanding of how people consume media in its various forms and the psychology behind why people use platforms
  • Leadership experience, able to set clear expectations and deadlines and can help motivate and coach teams to produce quality work and meet client objectives
  • Proven ability to manage large projects—often two or more simultaneously—under extremely tight timelines and where client expectations and deliverables may change at a moment’s notice
  • Ability to prioritize, problem solve, and stay calm, positive, and productive in high-pressure situations
  • Experience leading strategy for accounts focused on social, experiential and influencer campaigns
  • Sound business acumen; ability to think and negotiate strategically
  • Strong understanding of physical production and experience working closely with production teams
  • Fun and collaborative, looking to help lead and mentor
  • Presentation design skills are a plus but not required
  • Live in culture – and encourage staff to do so – by exploring and being active in the world outside of work, including the arts, culture, politics, literature, charitable organizations and/or other personal passions
