Onward Search is hiring for a Strategic Communications Consultant in Charlotte, NC! This is a one year contract with health benefits included!

Our client has a need for an energetic, strategic consultant to support the holistic and individual site needs.

Skills:

  • Strong strategic communications planning and execution experience with larger initiatives and C-Suite executives.
  • Strong writing and presentation preparation skills.
  • Experience in utilizing communications to drive employee engagement.
  • Ability to strategically think and connect the dots.
  • Strong working knowledge and skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Creativity.
  • Video skills a plus, including taking video via iPhone or camera and editing.
  • Graphic design skills a plus.

Requirements:

  • Inventory the current strategic site communication needs, recent deliverables and communication vehicles that exist within the company.
  • Prepare recommendations on structure, strategic focus areas and actions to align site leaders and communication leaders to drive consistency and efficiencies across sites, where possible.
  • Focus on deepening employee engagement at the local site level by aligning efforts to drive key messaging.
  • Develop strategic communication plans and execute on communication plans needed for each of the sites.
  • Ensure communications enable and drive results for upcoming site facility moves in applicable locations.
  • Establish reoccurring meetings with site leadership and working teams to ensure ongoing awareness of efforts and alignment to focus areas.
  • Monitor and report on measures to demonstrate if actions taken are driving engagement or changes in behaviors.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Corporate Relations, Legal, etc. on any external facing site opportunities.
  • Focus on developing a communications model.
