Onward Play is searching for an Associate Art and Game Producer! You will be working with industry veterans from film and games creating high-quality, art and game content for a new game. In this role you'll be supporting the Executive Producer and Art Production team, assisting with the day to day management of each project from pre-production through release.

The producer will help manage art development for the IP, maintain task management software, and partner with the EP to build and maintain roadmaps and schedules. The ideal candidate will be approachable and positive in a highly dynamic and deadline-driven start-up environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manages creative assets and deliverables between internal teams, external teams and project stakeholders
  • Creates solutions to ensure successful project delivery
  • Schedules, facilitates and manages art production meetings. Runs daily stand-ups, and Sprint meetings, and task management for the art team
  • Is knowledgeable about the status of tasks and projects and communicates schedule impacts as challenges arise
  • Ability to coach and motivate teams without direct reporting
  • Helps drive User Testing and QA processes
  • Manages art needs for Community and Marketing

Requirements

  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in Game development managing and working with art teams
  • Experience with Agile workflows, scrum planning, and task management
  • Has shipped a game project preferably mobile game
  • Knowledge of 3D game engines including Unity or Unreal
  • High level of initiative, flexibility and confidence. You must be able to balance structure/process with the needs of a creative and dynamic environment
  • Superior communication skills
  • Goal and deadline oriented with great attention to detail
  • Experience with QA and user testing
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Has experience with Jira, Asana, Fogbugz or other reporting tools
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
