Our client, an independent Pharma focused advertising agency, is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join their team. This role begins on-site in NYC as soon as possible.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing user requests and issue management reporting into the Director of Technology.
  • Setup new users on all agency systems and closing accounts upon termination.
  • Setup hardware for new and current employees.
  • Owning and managing inventory of all computing assets.
  • Checking systems and software every morning.
  • Consistently backup data.
  • Ensuring operating systems updates and configuration changes are handled in a timely manner.
  • Install and configure all new hardware and software.
  • Own the creation, adding, modifying and deleting of user information, reset passwords and more.
  • Own the security of all assets and remove viruses.
  • Document and configure the system.
  • Troubleshoot any problems that arise from the team.
  • Run system performance tuning as needed.
  • Ensure the network is kept up and running at all times.
  • Manage the AWS (Amazon Web Services) storage, servers and domains.
  • Manage the Synology server, Meraki Wireless Access Point System, RingCentral phone system and more.
  • Lead AV management for conference rooms.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all hardware or IT needs.
  • Other tasks may apply.

About you:

  • At least 4 years in IT Systems management.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with the following:
  • Delivering desktop Mac and Windows computer support.
  • Apple Deployment Enrollment Program with JAMF, Casper or similar.
  • Experience setting up and managing AWS including S3, EC2, Lamda, VPC, Route53, IAM.
  • Cisco Meraki Cloud.
  • Google Suite Management.
  • Synology File backup and restore.
  • Kaseya Management and Procedure Deployment.
  • Knowledge with Linus BASH Terminal.
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment.
  • TCP/IP LAN Networking Comprehension.
  • Working in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow directions and procedures.
  • Focused on documentation and implementing solutions to new proeblems.
  • Ideally some knowledge with HTML, CSS, Javascript and Ruby or Python.
