Global Educational Client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join them for an ongoing contract in Boston.

• Participate as a senior contributor in the implementation of next-generation technology security stacks in Azure and AWS
• Provide design and operational practices for Azure and AWS
• Develop automation and supporting infrastructure to enable significantly increased agility and consumption of cloud resources. Including creating and maintaining build scripts, templates and other artifacts for the security stack
• Provide training on various security and cloud technologies to the team and mentor less senior engineers on cloud and security topics
• Participate in the assurance of server-side security, e.g., endpoint detection & response EDR, vulnerability management, application whitelisting, etc.

Qualifications

  • Deep technical knowledge of network or systems security infrastructure, such as network or host-based firewalls, IDS, IPS, proxy servers, tap, and/or SIEM solutions
  • Experience with Cloud Security and networking (Azure, AWS) is essential
  • Knowledge of Fortinet Security Suite, NetFlow, WireShark, Bro, WAF, CarbonBlack, RASP, Sandbox and Splunk a plus
  • Cloud Service Provider related certifications desired:
  • Azure Security Technologies, Azure Architect Technologies, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Security Architect a plus
  • CISSP, CPP, CCSP, OSCP, CEH a plus
