Tableau Developer

Our client, a streaming entertainment network, is seeking a Tableau Developer to join the People Analytics team. We're looking for candidates with the following skillset and experience to fill the role. 

Responsibilities:

• Expert level Tableau Development, specifically Tableau Dashboard
• Advanced calculations, visualizations, parameter, sets, and action filters, level of detail, data filters & hierarchy
• Ample experience joining/setting up data sources, assessing data needs/gaps, working through data issues and preparing data for reporting/visualization
• Ability to create and assemble easily understandable visualizations from multiple data sources of varying complexity into a concise, well-organized, professional dashboard for senior leadership

Musts:

• 2+ years designing reports that show complex information in appealing, easy-to-understand, and effective visualizations. (Must be able to demonstrate a portfolio).
• Solid understanding of Tableau functions, filters, analytics and various visualization types
• Proficient in data visualization tools to design reports and graphs to identify autonomous patterns and behaviors
• Certified Tableau Professional (Desktop).
• Have the ability to quickly interpret the client's business questions, compile requirements, and develop prototype solutions.
• Advance SQL understanding & writing optimized queries.
• Thorough understanding of data warehouses and dimensional models
• Perform the required data wrangling, be it live or TDE or data blending etc. before connecting to data source from Tableau client.
• Generate operational reports, BI reports, dashboards and data models for various business units through advanced use of Tableau.
• Employ root cause analysis for data quality analysis, redundancy elimination, source identification and data reconciliation.

Musts:

• HR Experience / People analytics experience
• Experience with building wireframes for stakeholders
• Experience with gathering requirements from stakeholders
