Onward Search is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our biopharmaceutical client on an 8-month assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing TA strategies in partnership with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs), business leaders and hiring managers
• Full-cycle recruitment process, including proactive activity anticipating talent needs, sourcing, screening, and interviewing & assessing candidates, with the objective being to ensure lead candidates will meet and model corporate value
• Identify and implement recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
• Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges and pertinent details
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
• Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions

Musts:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management and 5 years of full life cycle recruitment experience in biotech and/or pharma in a corporate or agency environment
• Knowledge in building external networks at all levels, sourcing new employees for top candidates, utilizing multiple sources, turning candidate research into viable pipelines
• Ability to understand and monitor the market: defining the employment market including trends, talent supply, competitive positioning, and tapping new sources
• Fluent in the use of social media, networking sites, job boards, diverse talent communities
• Understanding of when to pivot sourcing strategy
• Experience successfully negotiating with and closing candidates
• Prior experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (preferred experience with iCIMS)
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively in high stress situations
• Strong customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of relationship building and what it takes to create raving fans
• Ability to manage a workload of up to 25 requisitions, prioritize tasks, and manage time well within a fast-paced and growing organization
• Results-oriented mindset (high sense of urgency, determination, tenacity, etc.)
• High attention to detail with meticulous organization skills
• Able to work both collaboratively and independently
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
