Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master

Onward Search is seeking a Technical Project Manager for one of our entertainment clients on a contract basis working a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days a week onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Job Summary:
As an agile Project Manager/Scrum Master within the Data and Insights Group, you'll be a pivotal member, overseeing Measurement Operations, Business Intelligence, and Data Engineering & Product teams. In this role, you'll act as a dynamic solution provider and change-agent, adept at juggling various responsibilities while maintaining a keen focus on the agile process. Your day-to-day activities involve coaching team members on Agile processes, leading essential ceremonies, removing obstacles, and ensuring effective communication of risks to minimize project exposure. You'll take ownership of project scope, risks, and issues, ensuring their resolution in a timely manner, while also building strong relationships with stakeholders across the DIG team and external organizations.

Required Skills:

• BA/BS in Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a technical background is essential.
• 1-2 years of Agile Project Management experience, preferably in a data-intensive organization.
• 2+ years of direct experience working with engineering teams.
• Proficiency in Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to guide teams towards agreed-upon scopes and lead meetings effectively.
• Skill in driving projects from inception to launch, including resource allocation, scheduling, risk management, and rollout; working knowledge of digital media is essential.
• Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams and coordinating release schedules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, creative, deadline-oriented, relentless about effective communication, and committed to delivering quality results.
• Accountability for project success, with the ability to drive prioritization and manage change control effectively based on shifting priorities or urgent deadlines with optimal solutions.
• Passion for and knowledge of interactive technology and platforms.
• Experience working with task management solutions (Jira, Confluence, Asana, @Task, ServiceNow).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in a media entertainment environment with multiple stakeholders and distributed teams.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships to drive results.
• Certified ScrumMaster certification.
