Onward Search has a new opportunity with a well-known eCommerce client. This opportunity is for a Technical Writer who can start immediately onsite at our client’s office in Charleston, SC. If you are interested keep reading and apply today!



  • Content development for UI text, help center, emails, and marketing content to educate and inform authors and publishers with succinct, useful content in line with our style guidelines
  • HTML and web-publishing using Content Management Systems
  • Copy-editing existing content or drafts provided by business SMEs by our style guidelines
  • Curriculum development and design for presentations at virtual and in-person author events



  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in English, Journalism, Digital or Media Communications, Visual Communications, Instructional Design, or a related discipline
  • Must have at least 3 years of related professional experience
  • Demonstrated previous project management experience
  • Advanced experience in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with basic HTML and web publishing as well as CMS platform
  • Experience working independently in a cross-functional team
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, technical environment
  • Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Bias for data-based decision-making and strong analysis skills
  • Experience working with the following Adobe CC
  • Experience with adult learning models and SEO
