Onward Search needs a Senior Analyst, GEC Compliance for a multinational retail company.

You'll join their in-house marketing agency that is uniquely designed to help brands reach hundreds of millions of shoppers across their entire shopping journey, online and in stores.

This is a 6 month contract opportunity with the likelihood of an extension.

Job Description:

  • Analyzes and drives rules efficiency to support policies
  • Building rules to meet changing business needs
  • Identifying gaps and areas for improvement
  • Analyzing data to identify the root cause of process issues
  • Testing rules to build improved efficiencies and processes
  • Communicating changes to key stakeholders

Manages T&S processes for Global Compliance:

  • Collaborating with partners (e.g. Compliance, Marketplace, Merchandising, T&S Operations) to resolve cross-functional implications.
  • Analyzing results to measure the effectiveness of rules.
  • Auditing rules to limit impact to legitimate transactions.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) (for example, catch rate, hit rate).

Must haves:

  • Ecommerce, merchandising, content moderation, or data analysis background.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel experience (for example pivot tables, end to end data analysis)
  • Data analysis experience
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • High degree of initiative and deadline-driven productivity


  • Risk, Policy or Trust and Safety experience
  • SQL experience
  • Content review or moderation experience
  • Understanding of SEO or SEM
  • Interest in history, pop culture, news (Political, National, World, Business)
  • Item setup experience
  • Can be 100% remote
