Onward Search is looking for a Traffic Manager to join our large corporate client in Cary for an onsite contract-to-hire opportunity!

Job Summary:

We are looking for a traffic manager/coordinator with exceptional organizational and project coordination to oversee and prioritize projects from 50-200 at any time.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Traffic. Schedule, monitor and track internal trafficking and workflow in ASANA software
  • Track all external trafficking, logs and confirmations
  • Assist with implementation and training for all agency processes and procedures
  • Work closely with all internal marketing departments to coordinate workflow and meet all deadlines assigned
  • Assist to manage traffic department workload and assign responsibilities to employees based on level of skill
  • Assign & recommend assignments for staffing/workflow
  • Participate with internal and external developmental projects
  • Maintain and acquire detailed information regarding emerging traffic technologies, including, but not limited to: spot encoding, digital ad serving, HD production/trafficking; financial system use, media software, etc

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of professional experience working as a Traffic Coordinator, Traffic Manager, or Creative Project Manager
  • Adobe Creative Suite and design background a plus but not required
  • Must be computer literate with proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook/Express with the ability to learn new computer systems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A strong sense of urgency and commitment to get the job done quickly and with high quality
  • The ability to communicate, both written and verbal, with people at all levels of an organization
  • Hands-on experience in creating estimate proposals preferred
  • Account knowledge a plus


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
