Onward Search is looking for a Training Coordinator to join our large corporate client here in Atlanta for a long-term onsite contract opportunity!

Job Summary:

  • Schedules and administers training programs to ensure the availability of specific and qualified Trainers
  • Works closely with Business Product project teams to document and manage training implementation requirements including classroom requirements, participant materials, facilitation materials, classroom size, location and schedule
  • Collaborates with boundary partners to ensure a smooth transition between Learning Operations, Learning Delivery, and Business Product Team
  • Consults with Learning Strategy and Curriculum Development on the implementation of short-and long-term workforce planning strategies and programs that are consistent with the Business Product Roadmap
  • Manages multiple project schedules
  • Documents and delivers communication and change management plan

Position Scope:

  • This is an onsite role and will require 40 hours/week
  • The role is expected to last for at least 8 months and could extend well beyond that, depending on project needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to the Curriculum Development function in Talent Management and Development
  • Schedules, coordinates and maintains training schedule, use of equipment, space and facilities
  • Point of contact for training programs and meetings to include facilities, A/V, virtual classrooms, etc.
  • Partners with appropriate departments to coordinate training activities to support Business Product Team
  • Produces and distributes course schedules, processes registrations, and answers routine inquiries regarding courses and schedules
  • Assembles and distributes course materials and teaching aides, as required for each type of program
  • Prepares appropriate forms, correspondence, memoranda, reports and records regarding course attendance, feedback on programs, instructors, etc.
  • Initiates and writes communications to course participants, facilitators, and leaders including confirmations, cancellations, and pre-work assignments
  • Submits internal University and Skill Port requests
  • Schedules WebEx sessions and coordinates trainer availability
  • Manages and requests printed training materials

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience coordinating training engagements in a large corporate environment
  • Prior experience working with WebEx, LMS/HRIS, and Microsoft Office Suite
