Onward Search's client, a Broadcast Network, is seeking a TV Post-Production Coordinator to join the team. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and competencies to fill the role. 

Skills:

  • Supporting the team’s managers handling time-sensitive assets and requires frequent communications with Vendors and Customer Service.
  • Mastering Catalog broadcast TV series, reviewing Q.C. and reporting to address flagged issues
  • Coordinating with Vendors by phone and email, coordinating physical asset movements between vendors.
  • Creating purchase orders for the creation of Archival/Servicing Files, English Subtitles, and Closed Captioning.
  • Reviewing asset rejections, coordinating fixes, and building asset replacements.
  • Asset research.
  • Updating tracking reports and paying invoices.
  • Meeting daily deadlines and working on a high volume of assets.

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Must have at least 2-4 years of experience in post-production.
  • Knowledge of video & audio tape/file formats and standards.
  • Studio/Post Production Facility experience preferred.
  • Must be able to organize, prioritize and schedule work effectively with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to work efficiently under time constraints.
  • Must be proactive and able to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in MS Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Good computer skills, including experience with email, the internet and various word processing and excel programs are required.
  • The ability to multitask and work effectively under daily time constraints in a high-pressure environment is required.
