Our client, a start-up, is seeking a UX Designer to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will report to the CTO
  • Own a project from start to finish 
  • Work with engineering and product teams
  • Day-to-day will be wireframing, building low to high fidelity prototypes, and helping build interface designs
  • Help drive design strategy, ensure that the products establish strong emotional connection with users, and make the brand more relevant and desirable

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience ideally having worked on the successful full lifecycle enterprise level product launch
  • Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of user-centered design, responsive design, and design as a system, with shipped products on the market
  • Portfolio shows design that is elegant and easily explainable user journeys, flows, and interaction models
  • Strong in wireframing and building low to high fidelity prototypes to learn and iterate from
  • Able to translate product and research insights into concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, system maps, user flows, wireframes, visual design comps, and prototypes
  • Experience building products and interfaces using Sketch, Adobe XD, or Invision Studio
  • Prototyping using Invision, Framer, Principle, Proto,io, or Pixate
  • Working in a fast-paced environment balancing engineering with functional and scalable design thriving in a collaborative environment
  • Experience with varying types of user research, user testing, and validation a plus
  • Passionate about building things, enjoy continuing to learn and grow, and value open communication and collaboration
