Onward Search is hiring for a UX Designer to join our client's Product Team. This is a contract to hire position in Buckhead. Benefits available during the contract period.

Skills Needed:

  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Strong grasp of qualitative and quantitative user research tools
  • Aim to push the application forward and innovate, always advocating for the end user
  • Creative thinker with a collaborative spirit and desire to jump in and learn
  • Able to be flexible and juggle multiple projects in a startup environment
  • Shepherd projects from inception to completion - from ideation, to design, to development, and QA to ensure a quality deliverable at launch
  • Know how to present your work creatively, and articulately communicate design rationale to partners
  • Strong cross-functional teamwork and communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with Sketch, Invision, and other top UX tools
  • BA or BFA in design related field preferred, but not required
  • 3+ years of experience in a professional working environment


  • Conduct user research to identify and prioritize user problems to solve
  • Work closely with product management to prioritize user needs against business goals and constraints
  • Create and refine personas, user journeys, concepts, etc. to help communicate ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ experiences
  • Translate UX concepts into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for rapid, iterative feedback with users
  • Help measure, learn, and improve on new and existing experiences
  • Improve standardization of UX style guides, tools, resources, and processes
  • Stay on top of UX trends and look for creative ways to inspire delightful experiences
