Onward Search is seeking a UX Designer to help the team of a global tech company for a 4 month assignment with the possibility to extend or hire.


  • Lead the end-to-end UX Design for their director program and simulation
  • Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, user journeys, customer voice & feedback, and conducting usability finding
  • Develop and iterate user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups and detailed UI & visual design specs for Product and Engineering teams as well as executive leaders
  • Incorporate customer feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings into design
  • Create and maintain detailed information architecture and design specs


  • 4-6 years of experience in UX or interaction design and/or information architecture; master’s degree in design or HCI preferred
  • Some experience in gaming or business simulation and registration portals
  • High proficiency in best practices for web-based information architecture & interaction design, user-centered design process, and UX techniques & principles
  • Experience designing applications with multiple user touch points, with a specialty in web design
  • Portfolio should showcase your breadth in UX and visual design, including your approach and process
  • Strong proficiency in high-fidelity mockup and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, or similar
  • Fluent in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience across global markets
  • Ability to prototype in front-end code such as CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to defend design decisions
