Onward Search is hiring for a UX Designer! This is a 1+ year contract with potential to extend. Client is located in South Atlanta. Health benefits available during the contract period.

In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential.


  • Understand product specifications and user psychology
  • Conduct user research, and client interviews
  • Create personas through user research and data
  • Develop sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
  • Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
  • Participate in QA testing of developed pages and apps for usability and consistency
  • Create compelling visual designs, including the creation of style guides and pattern libraries
  • Comfortable with design both customer facing sites, and corporate intranets Create designs that work within the capabilities and limitations of SharePoint Communicate design ideas and explain prototypes to developers
  • Design mobile-first and responsive solutions that work on mobile, tablet, and desktop


  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer or similar role
  • Strong portfolio of design projects
  • Comfortable working at the client site and leading client meetings
  • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
  • Proficient in design software (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc)
  • Experience in an Agile environment, and handling multiple concurrent projects Excellent communication skills
  • BSc in Design, or commensurate experience
  • Tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, HTML,CSS
