Our client, a well-known company in Fort Lauderdale, needs a UX Designer to start on a contract role that is ONSITE and ongoing.
This person will craft customer-centric design solutions that are focused on improving the experience of shopping for our customers
Design conceptual sketches, wireframe information architecture, high-fidelity mockups, and interaction specifications
Understand customers and their needs through market analysis, customer research, and feedback
Be the CX design thought and execution leader for our team and the larger organization
Develop personas, customer journey maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes
Collaborate with agile, multi-disciplinary teams to evaluate the feasibility of proposed features and create phased approaches to development
6+ years of industry experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar design-related role
Bachelor's degree in web or graphic design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
Prior eCommerce experience is REQUIRED.
Experienced in performing user research or gathering quantitative customer data
Proficiency designing and prototyping with tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar
Ability to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements independently
Experience working in a collaborative team, publicly white-boarding, and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills; demonstrated success in building buy-in for an innovative, bold, strategic vision.
Fluent in English with a proven track record of presenting to and influencing senior management
A strong portfolio of modern design work is REQUIRED and should be submitted at the time of application. Samples should include work for desktop, mobile, and tablet applications.
