Our client, an entertainment company, is seeking a UX Designer to join the Product Experiences team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, sketch, and design features for home entertainment steaming products
  • Work with Product Experience, Product Management, and Engineering teams to design usable products for home entertainment
  • Understand business objectives and user needs
  • Create personas, storyboards, and user flows
  • Participate in sketching sessions with Product Managers and fellow designers
  • Produce UX deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, and specifications
  • Help initiate and coordinate testing efforts with research team
  • Gather feedback from Marketing, Commerce, and other business units
  • Design for the 10-foot home entertainment experience, as well as mobile and responsive web
  • Communicate clearly and think quickly
  • Be an advocate of user-centered design, balancing qualitative and quantitative data when designing the best possible experience

Musts:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Information Architecture, Design, or related field
  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a UX or Interaction Designer
  • Experience in digital media or entertainment
  • Experience with transactional and ecommerce platforms
  • Familiar with designing for TV
  • Knowledge of Apple (HIG) Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design
  • Understand W3C web and accessibility standards
  • Expert in design tools, including Sketch, Invision, Omnigraffle, and Principle
  • Experience with continuous design, A/B testing and iteration
  • Experience working on new technologies, such as AR & VR, a plus
  • Professional portfolio or UI/UX work samples
  • Ideal candidate has experience designing for streaming devices, such as smart TVs, set-top boxes and gaming consoles, as well as web and mobile apps
