Onward Search is looking for a UX Researcher for one of our Premier Clients in NYC on a contract basis.
Identify research gaps, distill findings from all research, develop research plans for quantitative or mixed quantitative/qualitative research into user behaviors
Define and measure quantitative UX goals and metrics in collaboration with Designers, Qualitative Researchers, Engineers, and Program Managers
Examine existing data and product designs to generate hypotheses and plans for high-impact research.
Participate in an agile team structure, be familiar with scrum ceremonies, backlog story writing and planning with a product design team
You will moderate 1:1 and group panels and will document, compile, synthesize and communicate research finding and next-step actions to inform and impact the decision-making process
You will be an advocate to drive and execute environmentally sustainable design solutions
Bachelor's Degree in Research, Human-Computer Interaction Design or a related field is required
7 - 9 years of UX or user research for digital products, including web and mobile
Well-versed with scrum ceremonies, experienced backlog story writing and documented sprint planning with a product team design team is required
Proficiency in a variety of user research techniques and reports is required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet tools, including Web browsers, project management systems. Adobe Suite
Delivers excellent design to multiple projects or programs; achieves team targets and individual goals through successful executions of defined objectives.
Persistent and diligent attention to detail
Demonstrated strong visual, written and verbal communication skills to execute project briefs are required.
