Onward Search has a client that is looking for a Vendor Acquisition Specialist to develop relationships with new brands and on-board them onto our clients site. We are focused on developing and expanding upon the millions of products and brands we offer to our customer’s daily. You will also serve as a key customer serving on cross-functional teams tasked with driving initiatives and process change to continually improve the on boarding process. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure new vendor acquisition is fully brought on-boarded.
• 3+ years of vendor management/acquisitions and/or sales experience is required
• Experience utilizing Excel, databases and computer tools to process data
• Experience leveraging Excel (including Pivot tables, formulas, and charts) and other software tools to analyze a business
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• A proven track record in taking ownership of projects, motivating cross-functional partners, and managing deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects including work prioritization
• Ability to coordinate projects across multiple groups
• College degree preferred
• Wholesale and retail experience preferred
