Onward Search's client, an innovative home electronics company, is seeking a Video Editor to join their team on a long-term contract basis. You will be partnering with the Executive Producer to plan how the videos will be edited to promote/increase social engagement.

Skills:

  • Work closely with the Motion Graphics Artist to incorporate elegant motion into social videos.
  • Cut long form videos into a shorter form, adapted for social media.
  • Edit original content created solely for social.
  • Participate in strategy meetings with Executive Producers, Motion Graphics Artists, and Copywriters to ensure cohesion from ideation through execution.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience video editing using Premiere and After Effects.
  • Experience editing for all platforms including social and digital.
  • Understanding of the brand aesthetic and mission of the company.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with highly motivated team members.
  • Experience in CPG or storytelling/marketing a big plus.
