One of our social media content clients is seeking an Editor to join their video team for a 2-month assignment that could extend. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and competencies to fill the role. 


  • Create compelling narrative content for both horizontal and vertical formats.
  • Collaborate with creative, technical and business leaders to achieve the desired messaging.
  • Concept and ideate project projects and collaborate with creatives.
  • Recut, update or rework past projects for brand updates and repurposing narrative.
  • Cut and mix audio, sound effects, and music tracks.
  • Color grade footage and create LUTs.
  • Prep, organize and appropriately media manage projects.
  • Reformat, compress, and transcode media to suit a multitude of delivery formats.


  • 5+ years of editing experience for commercial agencies, television or film.
  • Expert in Adobe Premiere with a basic understanding of After Effects, Photoshop, and other Adobe CC application.
  • A creative storyteller with a strong understanding of short-form and ultra-short-form content.
  • Able to bring a strong personal editorial perspective and creativity to projects as well as easily take and execute the direction of creative leads.
  • Mastery of principles of editing, pacing, and storytelling with a right eye for composition and aesthetics.
  • A confident, self-motivated individual able to take direction and work collaboratively.
  • Able to work quickly and intuitively balance quality vs. speed to deliver the best results.
