Our client is seeking a Video Operations Analyst to manage and program their major social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok along with other key platforms across social handles.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow audience engagement across major social platforms and help editorial leads establish and maintain KPI goals
  • Knowledge of content framing, packaging and demonstrated success in driving traffic and new audiences via social platforms to O&O sites as well as growing platforms on social media
  • Strong 360 interest across different subject areas from news, sports, lifestyle, entertainment and finance so they can optimize and program content effectively
  • Platform leveraging and the ability to leverage multiple channels to grow is a vital part of this position
  • Work with video producers as needed
  • Stays up to date on current industry trends, evolving strategies and works constantly with editorial and video teams on ensuring all types of social content are following current best practices
  • Help editorial leads conceptualize original video and live streaming ideas for social platforms
  • Ideate unique call-to-action campaigns or other creative strategies to promote content

Skills:

  • This is a hybrid role that also requires video production skills to create and develop daily TikTok videos to help grow and increase our presence on that platform
  • Demonstrated success in identifying content that resonates on specific social platforms and growing audiences both in terms of volume and demographic diversity
  • Video production experience with the ability to produce/develop compelling short/mid-form video across social platforms
  • Understanding of social best practices in all aspects across all major platforms (scheduling posts, programming video, content promotion, etc.)
  • Strong writing skills with a sharp eye for creative touts/tweets
  • Strong grammar and communication skills
  • Experience with social/video platforms for cutting clips and publishing live streams
  • Ability to produce/edit video and create graphics using Adobe Creative Suite a plus

  • A team player who can work across multiple groups to partner and collaborate on multiple initiatives
  • A huge fan of all things social media, news, sports, pop culture and up to date on the latest trends on a daily basis
  • Someone who enjoys engaging with the social audience and loves to build the conversation around our brand
