Onward Search is looking for a Visual Merchandising Designer for one of our leading beauty clients on a freelance basis. This role is onsite in NYC starting ASAP.

This candidate should have a strong background in both store design and visual merchandise. They should have a strong design aesthetic with the ability for their designs to tell a story, but stay true to the brand.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Visual Merchandise design experience.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D design.
  • Must have fashion, beauty / cosmetics industry experience.
  • The ability to work in a deadline driven, and at times high pressure environment.
  • Strong communications.
  • Experience managing relationships with outside production vendors.
  • Ability to communicate design direction to VM Managers and other team members.
  • Experience with cross team communication.
