Our client, a mid-sized advertising agency, is looking for a freelance Web Designer to support on a six-week long project. This role begins on-site in NYC on August 27th.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborating daily on the redesign of mutliple websites alongside the Creative Director, Producer and Account team.
  • Take creative direction, and translate larger approaches into actionable design solutions.
  • Communicate with the Producer to ensure design deadlines are met.
  • Source, select and prepare imagery through an approved library of content to be used online.
  • Retouch imagery as needed.
  • Chose and develop rationale for color choices to be used within templates.

About you:

  • 3-5 years of professional web design experience.
  • Specialized knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.
  • Experience working with Drupal and/or Wordpress templates.
  • Your portfolio aesthetic is sleek, current and broadly applicable.
  • Proven experience supporting the visual UI/UX process, hands-on wireframes is a plus.
  • Team player who creates opportunities for innovation and excellence.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental design principles, and able to execute clean, and elegant documentation.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines.
  • Comfortable supporting and collaborating with both creative and technical leads.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a deadline-sensitive and fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong skill with typography, layout and color to engage and direct audiences to action.
  • Confidence and team spirit.
