Our client is looking for a talented Web Developer to join their growing team. If you are looking to work on the North Shore this could be the role for you!

Primary responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining print automation systems
  • e-commerce HTML/CSS development
  • Web portal development
  • API development
  • Variable data template development

Technologies:

  • Symfony, PHP, Docker
  • React, Graphql, Node.js
  • MySQL, MS SQL
  • Enfocus Switch
  • AWS/Linux
  • PageDNA & SmartStream
  • BCC
  • Magento 2

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience building, securing and supporting internal service APIs, as well as integrating external API's
  • Strong foundation in computer science, including competencies in data structures, databases, and software design
  • Experience operating within the cloud, preferably Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with our core technologies is a plus. In particular: Symphony, PHP, React, Node, Serverless, GraphQl, JavaScript ES6, JQuery, CSS3, HTML5
  • Experience writing maintainable, well-tested code while moving fast
  • Adobe InDesign or other print production software
  • Proven work ethic and desire to plant some roots with our organization

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to translate and effectively articulate the business benefits of complex IT products and approaches to internal and external stakeholders
  • Outstanding project management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail while managing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to collaborate with a team environment and work independently yielding significant production with considerable self-direction.
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving ability
