Youtube Video Editor

Our viral exciting YouTube entertainment client has two openings for onsite Mid Level Video Editor for a viral youtube channel and sports personality/content/influencer/ecommerce company. The editor will be editing videos (1-2+ per week) for a viral and notable YouTube channel, might also have video editing needed for apparel brand they promote.

Onsite 5x per week in LA/Thousand Oaks area, no relocation offered. Must have strong video reel of strong youtube editing examples.

Required:

• 2 plus years of experience with Adobe Suite
• Strong video reel of youtube editing experience. Please do not apply without this requirement
• 2+ years in recent Youtube channel video marketing. Recap video experience, Reaction YouTube video experience. Please do not apply without this requirement
• Passion for Youtube and basketball/sports
• Knowledge of comedic timing, funny bits, how to look. at a script or dialogue and know the meat and potatoes of it
• Adhere to brand style guide and aesthetic of video edits and video qualify
• Able to build quick animation clips to insert into funny moments in a video
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite like Excel and Word
• Able to work collaboratively but also as an individual contributor
• Able to understand creative direction and visuals
• Strong eye for editing
• Build out inperson editing themes
• A plus is incorporating AI editing tools
• Soft skills of open, positive, flexible, foster growth, sharing creative mindsets, no toxicity, strong with creative briefs, creative vision, content creator mindset, esports mindset, sports mindset, down for building something great with a team and digging in to meet timelines
